This session demonstrates how HOSA Health Professional competitive event rubrics can be used as the foundation for daily, hands-on health science instruction rather than solely for competition preparation. Participants will explore a practical kit-based model that aligns skills, materials, and assessment directly to HOSA guidelines, allowing students to actively practice healthcare roles in a structured, engaging way. Attendees will experience a sample kit, learn cost-effective strategies for building and organizing kits, and gain confidence in teaching healthcare skills without extensive clinical backgrounds.
