About me
I have been a Registered Nurse for over twenty five years. I graduated from Bryan School of Nursing in 2000 with my Diploma of Nursing and from Chamberlain University with my Bachelors of Science in Nursing in 2014. My background in nursing includes acute care, critical care, outpatient services, and over 20 years in the operating room as a circulator/scrub nurse/Service Line Coordinator. In 2023, I transitioned to the role of Healthcare Pathways Instructor with Columbus Community Hospital in collaboration with Lakeview Community Schools and Scotus Central Catholic. I am also an adjunct instructor through Central Community College-Columbus Campus. I will be starting my fourth year at Lakeview, where I teach Health Science 1,2, and 3; Certified Nursing Assistant; Medication Aide; and dual-credit Medical Terminology. This will be my third year with Scotus Central Catholic, where I teach Certified Nursing Assistant classes.
