About me
I’m a marketing leader, educator, and strategist passionate about connecting people, ideas, and innovation to create opportunities that transform lives and communities. As the Assistant Dean of Applied AI and Innovation and Senior Director for the Nebraska Safety Center at the University of Nebraska at Kearney, I lead storytelling, brand strategy, and partnership development that strengthen our college’s impact across Nebraska. My work focuses on creating authentic engagement through digital innovation, workforce partnerships, and hands-on learning that prepares students to lead in a rapidly changing world. Outside of UNK, I serve as Chairman of the Nebraska Commission on Asian American Affairs, where I help elevate voices, build trust among communities, and foster civic leadership statewide. I also serve on the boards of the World Theatre, Kearney Family YMCA, and the Kearney Airport Advisory Board, where I continue my commitment to local service and growth. A lifelong learner, I’m passionate about the intersection of AI, marketing, and education, and how emerging technologies can strengthen storytelling, leadership, and human connection. Certified through programs at Harvard’s Digital Data Design Institute, Adobe, Smarter X, IBM, and Meta, I help bridge digital fluency with empathy-driven leadership. At the heart of everything I do is one simple belief: education and innovation are only meaningful when they improve people’s lives.
