Marcy Harrifeld is a distinguished educational leader with over two decades of experience spanning the K–12 spectrum. Currently serving as the Assistant Principal and Director of Academies at Crete High School, Marcy oversees the Cardinal Academies, where she integrates rigorous academics with real-world career pathways.A recognized voice in school innovation, Marcy has presented her work at the LEAD Conference in Nashville and serves as a Fellow with the National Career Academy Coalition (NCAC). Her leadership is defined by a commitment to inclusive excellence; she is currently a Fellow with the LEAD IDEA Special Education Academy, focusing on the intersection of career-themed learning and specialized instruction to ensure equitable access for all learners.Prior to her leadership at Crete, Marcy spent 13 years as a High School English teacher before transitioning into administration as an Elementary Assistant Principal in Tennessee and an Instructional Coordinator in Lincoln, Nebraska. This diverse background allows her to bring a holistic, system-wide perspective to workforce development and secondary school redesign.
