Jim Townsend is honored to be part of the corporate management team at Kawasaki Motors Manufacturing Corp., USA (KMM). His responsibilities at KMM include corporate management of occupational health and safety, employee training and development, and employee wellness. Jim has been with Kawasaki for over 35 years. He has a passion for education and serves on several advisory boards and committees for the Nebraska departments of education and economic development; he is past Board Chair for The Foundation for Lincoln Public Schools and WorkWell. Jim is currently a member of the NeMac and many advisory boards for Southeast, Central and Northeast Community Colleges.
When not attending to the needs of KMM employees, Jim is the proud father to three adult kids and grandpa to two grandchildren. He can be found in his natural habitat: the golf course. A short time a goal was set to play every golf course in Nebraska with his wife Tracy Lungrin, they are well over half way to that goal.
