Doug Rood is Senior Operations Manager at Collins Aerospace in York, Nebraska. Originally from Allentown, Pennsylvania, he earned a degree in Aerospace Engineering from Penn State and began his career in Rockford, Illinois, with UTC Aerospace Systems (now Collins Aerospace).
With more than 12 years in manufacturing, Doug has advanced through multiple leadership roles and earned his MBA from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. Since relocating to Nebraska in 2021, he has been active in the York community, leading York Young Professionals and serving on several local and statewide manufacturing and economic development boards. He is passionate about strengthening Nebraska’s manufacturing and economic future.
