About me
Craig Frederick grew up in the communities of Creighton and Verdigre and served in the United States Navy. Craig attended the University of Nebraska School of Technical Agriculture at Curtis graduating with an Associate Degree in Agribusiness/Horticulture then worked in commercial horticulture and at Shamrock Greenhouse and Nursery in O’Neill Nebraska. He continued his education at the University of Nebraska at Lincoln graduating with a Bachelor of Science Degree and a Master’s Degree in Agricultural Education and Horticulture. He was the first AgEd teacher in Nebraska to build a greenhouse and offer horticulture semester classes at the secondary level. He was the Director of Agriculture Education for the Nebraska Department of Education and worked at the National FFA. Craig taught Horticulture and Agriscience at Lewiston, Seward, Grand Island, and Centura. He has over 35 years of experience teaching horticulture and working in the industry.
