About me
Camelle C. Kinney currently serves as the Academy Business Partnership Liaison at Crete High School, where she connects business and industry partners with career academies to create meaningful, real-world learning opportunities for students. With more than 25 years in education, Camelle brings deep experience in curriculum development, leadership, and career and technical education.
Before joining Crete High School, Camelle spent over two decades in Lincoln Public Schools as a Family and Consumer Science teacher and department chair, helping establish programs at a new high school, leading district curriculum initiatives, and supporting the development of career academies. She is a frequent presenter at state and national conferences, a past president of the Nebraska Association of Family and Consumer Sciences, and a recognized leader in CTE. Her honors include Nebraska State FCS Educator of the Year and National FCS Teacher of the Year finalist.
