About me
I am in my seventh year working with teacher preparation for future business and technology teachers in my role at UNK. I also promote economic and financial literacy through K-12 programming and teacher workshops in my role of directing the UNK Center for Economic Education, as well as teaching the Personal Money Management course at UNK. Prior to UNK, I was a high school business and technology teacher, as well as an FBLA adviser. My educational background comes from a Bachelor's degree from UNK in Career Education (BMIT Certification), a Masters in Higher Education Administration from UNL, and I am currently working on my Ph.D. in Educational Studies from UNL. Since December of 2023, I have also had the opportunity to work part-time as a Financial Advisor in training for WealthPlan Partners in Kearney. My equation to a happy life includes always saying yes to travel adventures, eating hot wings, spending time with my family, and being a proud dog mom to the cutest Toy Husky and daughter west of the Mississippi.
