For this session, we will focus on the Surgical Technologist Health Professions event as the model for building a classroom-ready instructional kit. Participants will be guided step-by-step through the creation of six skills that make up the complete kit.
During the session, attendees will:
- Identify and break down the selected skills from the HOSA rubric
- Organize materials needed for each skill
- Assemble a complete, ready-to-use skill kit
All materials and resources will be provided so that participants leave with a fully functional kit they can immediately implement in their classroom. The goal is to simplify the process and show how high-quality, hands-on instruction can be created in a practical and cost-effective way.
